What Is Better Emotional vs Logical?

Emotional/Logical

There are moments when you can't control your mind and speak whatever you think at that particular second. There are times when you see something and can't get over it as it might have made you connect to it. These moments in life are some of the difficult ones as we tend to get too emotional over them and never think about what to do or what to speak and that leads to getting hurt, feel frustrated about why did I say that and was it that necessary to come out? Because all it did to me is make me think not good but worse about not only myself but also about everything and everyone related to that. Getting emotional is not always bad and negative, it's also good. For example, you are getting emotional over your achievement or holding your child for the first time in hospital. Such things fall under the category of happiness and care. Talking about being logical, it has its own circumstances. People may find it more of practical thought. We will discuss it later. To start with Emotions:

EMOTION A PAIN OR A CURE?:

Well, it can be either pain or cure for you. It depends on how you handle it. If you have faced any situation where you are feeling irritated, strongly uncomfortable, and in response, you got heated up and start expressing it, that my friend is The Biggest Enemy Of Yours-Anger. This wrath or rage, intense emotion is nothing but pain and can never be your cure. The moment when you express it, although it will satisfy you later on all it will make you are feeling guilt. Sometimes when you are hurt by someone, you hit rock bottom, there is a pain deep inside your heart, you might also feel like crying which is also one of the emotions. This emotion can sometimes help you to go back to normal as you were earlier. Crying is nature's way of relieving our ‘tensions’ and our burdens. It doesn’t make our problems disappear, no. But it helps us to deal with our problems in a more level-headed way and cures them. In essence, crying helps us to live more lively and self-understanding lives.

Winning People's Hearts!!

We know that emotions are reactions to perceived and imagined stimuli, not based on logic, but on one's own personal experiences. Emotions often outweigh our logic. Imagine placing a plank of wood on the ground and walking its length a few times. Easy enough, right? But suppose you placed it a hundred feet in the air between two buildings. You know you can walk that plank — you just did it over and over again. Yet now, emotions and fears outweigh logic. When you are persuading someone, emotions provide the springboard for the successful execution of your argument. In fact, I would even say emotions are the energy and very fuel of the persuasion process. Without tapping into your audience's emotions, there is no strength or energy in your message. Emotion is a power you can harness and use in practically every aspect of persuasion. Remember, logic is important, but emotion helps you catapult an otherwise dull or flat exchange to the next level.

Now let's talk about being Logical; It is more of a practical approach, it is believable and it can also influence the listener in many ways. When you are explaining yourself logically you are being practical and speaking proportionately to knowledge. This doesn't mean it can work all the time.  Although you will be thinking it is working but the listener may find it a little annoying sometimes as it will be irritating because people nowadays are more of an emotional thinkers rather than being logical. You may or may not find it easy.

Dependency

Requires Emotion – Logic cannot always be completed without emotion, especially about decisions that affect life satisfaction. After all, relationships, jobs, and other major decisions are not always just pen and paper decisions. For example, logically a partner may look great on paper but they do not create feelings of love and excitement. If so, they may not be the right partner.

Requires Energy – Logic isn’t always a simple process. The amount of mental and physical energy that goes into a logical decision may be more than the time and attention allow. Making a logical conclusion quickly, for example, can be very difficult.

Logic Is Stronger Than Emotion

If you were in a professional debate, would you enter and speak through proof, logic, and reason, or try to win the debate through emotions and feelings? Obviously, the person who provided the evidence would win the debate.
Metaphorically speaking, the brain is the person getting up and doing something while the heart is the person sitting down and praying.

 It's Called Mind Wise

Everyone has their own perspective, they can be either emotional or be more of a logical thinking person. It is said that emotions drive 80 percent of the choices the world makes, while practicality and objectivity only represent about 20 percent of logical decision-making. It's tough out there,  facing the world. When a person is crying you cannot speak logically as it would make you an emotionless person, you have to sacrifice your ego and sympathize with the person. When you speak logically you may overdo it and end up facing raised eyebrows. You have to choose either of the two but have to face moments with a Catch-22.
